Georg Gaderer, received his master in electrical engineering and informatics both with honors from Vienna University of Technology in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Afterwards he became a research assistant at the Institute of Computer Technology at the Vienna University of Technology. During that time his research interests where among various industry projects focused on remote energy meter reading and clock synchronization in powerline networks. In 2005 he joined the Austrian Academy of Sciences where he is currently head of the clock synchronization group, leading several clock synchronization related national and international research projects. Georg Gaderer is coordinator of the FP7 ICT STREP flexWARE. He is part-time lecturer at the Vienna University of Technology and the University of Applied Sciences FH-Campus Wien.

Manuela Joppich worked since 1998 as management assistant at Phoenix. Since March 2008 she is employed at Austrian Academy of Sciences as project management assistant and controller for national and international projects.

Aneeq Mahmood received his bachelor degree in 2005 from GIK Institute for Science and Technology and his master degree in 2007 from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden. His major research interests are vertical handovers in heterogeneous systems (cellular system + WLAN) and distributed QoS for user deployed WLANs. He joined the Research Unit for Integrated Sensor Systems in 2007. He is currently working on FlexWARE project and while moving towards a doctoral degree.

Anetta Nagy was born in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 1983. She finished her master studies on microcomputer electronics at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia in 2008. She joined the Research Unit of Integrated Sensor Systems in 2007 where she finished her diploma thesis on modeling oscillators for clock synchronization.Her research interests are modeling, system and hardware design, which is also the topic of her PhD thesis.
